What is a sociological survey?
This course is designed as an introduction to the sociological inquiry and the problems involved in the preparation and conduct of a research. It includes a theoretical and general part, but is based on concrete examples of surveys. The goal is to teach students to distinguish and design the different phases of a research. Several teachers will come during the semester to present a type or aspect of the sociological inquiry, emphasizing both the methodological problems they themselves have encountered in their own research and the possible solutions to deal with them. .
