General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

CERCEC (Centre for Russian, Caucasian and Central European Studies, UMR8083) as relevant data controller hereby informs you that your data are processed. Where certain information is mandatory to access specific site functionalities, this mandatory nature is indicated at the point where the data are captured. Should you refuse to provide that mandatory information, you may well not have access to certain services.

Data are retained as follows

  • After an event, the data required on registration are deleted.
  • After three years of inactivity, personal data are deleted under your right to be forgotten.

Transfer of data outside the European Union

No data are transferred outside the European Union.

Under the applicable laws and regulations, in particular Law N° 78-17 of 6 January amended on information technology, files and liberties and European Regulation N° 2016/679/EU of 27 April 2016 (applicable since 25 May 2018), you have the following rights :

As a user, to

  • exercise your right of access to see the personal data concerning you;
  • request that your data be rectified if they are incorrect;
  • request the portability or deletion of your data;
  • request the deletion of your account;
  • request restriction of the processing of your data;
  • oppose for legitimate reasons the processing of your data;
  • withdraw your consent to the processing of your data.
